When and where is the wedding taking place?
Birdsall House, Birdsall, Malton YO17 9NS.
The wedding will take place on 22nd August 2026.
What time should we arrive?
We ask that you arrive promptly to be in the Church by 1:30pm.
What’s the dress code?
Black tie and formal evening attire.
For guests wearing stilettos, the venue kindly requests the use of heel protectors.
Will the wedding be held in one place?
Our ceremony will take place in the church on the Birdsall Estate grounds. Transport will then be provided to the main house for the reception and evening celebrations.
Are children welcome?
Our wedding will be for those included on the invitation only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes we can accommodate all dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.
Can we post photos on social media?
We’re happy for you to share photos on social media, but we kindly ask that no photos are taken during the ceremony.
Can I bring my own confetti?
Yes, please feel free to bring your own confetti, but make sure it is biodegradable.
Venue & Directions
Is there parking available on site?
Yes, there is parking available on site which will be clearly signposted on the day.
Are taxis easy to get in the area?
As the venue is in a rural location, taxis are limited and Uber is not available, so please make sure you pre-book your travel in advance, especially for the journey home.
